Santa is making his List! Washougal Heating & Cooling
“You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I am telling you why”...
Because Santa does not visit houses of naughty boys and girls who have dirty furnaces! In houses that have no chimney Santa uses the furnace (Duh!). He sent us a letter from the North Pole explaining how sick and tired he is of your nasty, neglected units. He pleaded for us to spread the word about annual maintenance. He wrote “I see you when you procrastinate! I know when you ignore it! I know ‘cause I was there last year, so just book one for goodness sake!”. Good ole Saint Nick isn’t the only reason you should schedule a maintenance, however.

Family Gathering
Do yourself and your relatives a favor this holiday season and make sure the temperature is just right. Between your cousin who brought her 6 children all under the age of 5 to your Great Aunt Mildred, there will be a lot of thermostat adjusting. A dirty furnace will not run efficiently and may stop working altogether if it cannot keep up. You deserve a toasty warm, relaxing holiday as does your family. Do not set yourself up to fail at hosting the family gathering this year!
Christmas Morning
You can expect a few things Christmas morning. Children waking you up at ungodly hours, sipping hot coco while your children squeal in delight with each present they tear into and spending time in your cozy warm, cinnamon and pine smelling home with your loved ones. What you aren’t expecting is your trusty, old furnace going kaput on you! Of course, nothing can truly kill the holiday spirit, but a freezing houseful of cold, grumpy children will sure come close! Besides, what is the point of forcing the family to wear those ridiculous matching pajama ensembles when you’ll have to cover them up with winter coats? Although watching the kids struggle to open presents while wearing mittens so their little fingers won’t freeze may be quite entertaining, we doubt they’ll think so. Some will say “I bet that never actually happens! I have never maintenance my furnace and it has been 4 years going strong!”…yeah, we’ll be here waiting for your call!
Money?? What’s that?
Did the holidays wipe out your bank account? Not everyone can afford to keep an “Emergency Fund” for when things take a turn for the worse, especially this time of year. A furnace will not break down due to not receiving its annual maintenance's, but from the bigger problems that negligence can, and often will cause. These problems end up being much more expensive and time-consuming to fix. That, and this is HVAC busy season! Some companies are booking several weeks out. Some do not offer to finance either (but we do!). With no financing, you may be waiting months! Do not wait until you’re in a financial pickle with a busted furnace to call us.
